Data protection information regarding the production and use of photographs and/or video recordings in accordance with Art. 13 DSGVO

2. purpose of processing:

The photos and videos are used exclusively for the public relations work of the European youth Orchestra Academy – Kultur@Home Metropol Rhein-Neckar e.V.

3. legal basis of the processing:

The processing of photos and videos (collection, storage and transfer to third parties, see under 5.) is based on the express consent of the person(s) with parental authority or of the person(s) concerned, thus in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 letter a DSGVO. The publication of selected image files in (print und media) publications of the organiser as well as on their homepage/Facebook, Instagram, Youtube account or similar is necessary for the public relations work of the organiser and thus serves the legitimate interests of the participants, Art. 6 para. 1 letter f DSGVO.

4. categories of recipients of the personal data:

The photos and videos will not be shared with third parties. Except for the television company that records and broadcasts the public concerts.
For public relations purposes, they may be posted on the homepage of the European Youth Orchestra Academy and Kultur@Home Metropol Rhein-Neckar e.V. and used for the Facebook and other social media page of the Academy.

5. duration of storage of personal data:

Photos and/or videos, which are taken for the purpose of the public relations work of the Academy, will be stored for an indefinite period of time, subject to revocation of the consent of the person(s) concerned.

6. right of revocation in case of consent:

The consent to the processing of the photos and/or videos can be revoked at any time for the future. The legality of the data processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation is not affected by this.

7. data subject rights:

According to the General Data Protection Regulation, you are entitled to the following rights:
If your personal data is processed, you have the right to receive information about the data stored about you. (Art. 15 DSGVO)

If incorrect personal data is processed, you have the right to have it corrected (Art. 16 DSGVO).

If the legal requirements are met, you may request the erasure or restriction of processing as well as object to processing (Art. 17, 18, 21 DSGVO)

If you have consented to the data processing or a contract for data processing exists and the data processing is carried out with the help of automated procedures, you may have the right to data portability. (Art. 20 DSGVO)

If you make use of the aforementioned rights, the data controller will check whether the legal requirements for this are met. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commissioner of the State of Baden-Württember – Germany.
